Super Bowl alternative: the Puppy Bowl is back!
Ok so the snacks are served, the party has started, but the game is still hours away. Animal Planet’s annual Puppy Bowl provides some canine fun to supplement your Super Bowl programming. If you can’t find it on your televison system, you can get your fill on their website:

Pups at play video
Spring is here and the pups got to play in the BIG kids yard with my dogs, Hermes and Bella and our friend Abby (who is Willow‘s daughter). They had a blast and were tearing around for nearly an hour.

A Sugar filled slide show

Hi, Happy Holidays!
I think I finally figured out how to attach some pictures. Sugar is doing great, her mange cleared up and she was spayed a couple weeks ago. We used the animal hospital in Glendale Heights, they couldn’t have been any nicer and were only charged for her meds. She had no problems and was back to her old self the next day. Sugar has graduated out of her crate, she goes back and forth between my room and my sons room at night and wakes me up between 7 and 8 with kisses all over my face. She is really a loveable dog. She loves to be close to everyone and loves to cuddle. She does not have a mean bone in her body, my son plays crazy with her, taking her bones and bothering her when she eats and we never heard her growl. Sugar has really brought alot of joy to us. Thanks again, have a happy new year.

Quaker Parrot Frank Frank talks
Here is a long (10 minute) video of me and Frank Frank enjoying some quiet time together. If you want to see the sweetest part, move all the way to the end to see us “cuddle”. Watching it showed me how far he and I have come in this short 6 months together.

More reunion video
Here is a video again complied by Koda‘s owner, Pam. (Thanks again!) This one is fun way to see the energy of the reunion day – and hear some sounds. This is early on when they all arrived and were running out their energy. They kept up that level of energy for a good hour, and some never stopped! What a great day.

Here is a slide show on Photobucket, complied by Koda‘s owner (thank you very much Pam!) The password to get in is case sensitive so use the capital C: Chloesgroup. It gives you a great sense of the joy of that day. It was so amazing that I am still feeling the after affects – warm, happy, love energy all around. Those pups remembered one another and they remembered their mama, Chloe. It was such a joy to see them running, wrestling, nosing, and chasing one another.
